Point of Interest
Red Lighthouse
Lignano Sabbiadoro
On the easternmost tip of Lignano Sabbiadoro, there is an old recently restored lighthouse which for many years was the point of reference for navigators.
To the left of the historic lighthouse, in more recent times, one was built with the same architectural characteristics and much further towards the sea thanks to a long wooden walkway, which has become a suggestive panoramic point from which to observe the mixing of the waters of the lagoon of Marano and the Adriatic Sea.
The walkway, currently not accessible as it was partially destroyed by a storm, will be renovated.
