“The Sea Is Their Home” is a campaign created by LAV with the support of the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, and the Italian Coast Guard – General Command of the Harbour Offices.
Its aim is to teach children to
respect all sea animals.
Look, but don’t touch: once again in 2025, the campaign returns to Italian beaches to help children and families learn to respect all creatures of the sea and coastline!
With a series of stops in coastal towns across Italy, LAV volunteers raise awareness among beachgoers about the importance of protecting ecosystems and their inhabitants.
Using printed and multimedia materials, they spread the message of care and respect for marine and coastal animals and their environment as widely as possible.
The campaign "The Sea Is Their Home" will stop in Lignano Sabbiadoro on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Beach Village (Office 7, Sabbiadoro).
