Lignano Sabbiadoro confirms its status as the capital of beach sports. On Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 July 2026, the Beach Arena (Beach Office 5, Sabbiadoro) will host two major events: the European Beach Rugby Cup (EBRA Series) and a stage of the Italian Beach Rugby Championship.
More than 340 top athletes from France, Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, and Italy will take part. Lignano once again confirms itself as the only historic Italian stop on the European circuit.
The future of rugby will also be on the field, with the Under-14 women’s representative teams from Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto.
Matches will be officiated by an outstanding refereeing team from Italy, France, Malta, Spain, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
