On the weekend of September 6 and 7, 2025, Lignano Sabbiadoro will host the celebrations for the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Lignano Sabbiadoro Alpini Group, an important event honoring six decades of commitment, tradition, and community service.
The program opens on Saturday, September 6 at 9:00 PM with a concert by the A.N.A. Sectional Choir of Codroipo, which will take place at the Cathedral in Piazzale San Giovanni Bosco.
On Sunday, September 7, the commemorative day continues with:
9:30 AM – Gathering at the group headquarters in Via Palestro 51
10:00 AM – Greetings from civil and military authorities, participation of Alpini groups, and laying of floral tributes
10:30 AM – Formation of the parade and procession to the Town Hall (Piazzale Divisione Julia), including a flag-raising ceremony, official speeches, and the celebration of Holy Mass
Following – Tribute to the Fallen with a wreath-laying at the Monument and parade through the town center
The celebrations will be accompanied by the A.N.A. Sectional Fanfare of Udine, enriching the event with its engaging music.
